This pad will gather dust in my closet as the surface is noisy (coins clank when dropped on it) and hard. Purse palming coins and/or shells with this pad is impossible for me. With no "give" at all, even picking up cards requires more attentiveness than it should. If this kind of surface is what you seek, this pad would offer an elegant touch to your presentation.
