Magic Tricks

We are all students who are learning new things everyday. I am sure Art learned a lot through this lecture and so did I. Sure, he made a few mistakes but don't we all. I still learned a lot from that one trick that did not work, and perhaps even learned more. Overall, the first half of this lecture was solid. The effects were great. Some effects like the Animal divination and prediction, and his drawing dupes are all impromptu and prop-less.The second half is not for everyone. When I was watching the second half I ignored how simple or how ridiculous that the methods were, because the effects were beautiful. His story about his first date with his wife left me in silence for a solid minute. His cloud therapy effect is what magic or mentalism should be, not just to simply fool or entertain people but to empower and change them.
