The method is very clever. The moment that the magic happens looks great. In my opinion, however,
getting into position prior to the effect happening is a bit too fussy and fiddly, even how Arnel
does it in the explanation video. There is a moment when you are setting up during the effect that
requires that you look at what you are doing while you are doing it, and there's really no good
justification for that moment when you are looking at the cards and fiddling around. I'm going to
try remaking the gimmick such that there is one-half the amount to adjust with the gimmick during
the effect, which I suspect will smooth out the fiddly moment a bit. The method/gimmick is great
food for thought if you are a hands-on creative type who enjoys tinkering with the mechanics of
gimmicks/effects, and will probably give you ideas for how to improve things or give you new ideas
for effects of your own. The entire effect, as it's offered here, needs a bit of refinement, in my
opinion. For example, at the end of the trick you show that the card that the crease dissappeared
from is folded, but does not have a crease, which I think confuses matters and muddies what the
effect is supposed to be.
