This six DVD set is, in a word, historic. Annemann's Practical Mental Effects is one of two books
most often recommended to people wanting to learn mentalism. It's been easy to find and read the
book, however, seeing these effects demonstrated by a pro, not so easy. Now, anyone wanting to read
the foundational book can do so - and see many of the effects demonstrated by a Master of the Art
with 40 years experience.
I own most of Richard Osterlind's DVD sets, and had to get this
one to make my Osterlind library almost complete. If you are a beginner, just getting started in
mentalism, I cannot recommend this DVD set highly enough. An ideal companion to the book. In fact,
this set includes a PDF version of the book as a nice bonus. If you are a Richard Osterlind fan,
and enjoy his teaching style, you will probably also enjoy this set, as will those interested in
mentalism history.
