This is a great lesson on swami gimmicks, its an hour long. Many great things are taught including
hot to fit, prepare, and use the gimmick.
Question: Does anyone know where to get the
swamis that he uses in the video?
Richard & Jim have them on their site, OsterlindMysteries.com

I also think they sell a marker style swami. Only thing that i don't like is how the swami is usually chicken scratch. And the other writing is normal. Don't laymen notice this ?
Or do magicians see this more.
You are (usually) standing, holding a card or tablet unsupported, and writing. Yeah, it doesn't look like great penmanship, but it is, with practice, readable and will match any intro remarks you may have written on the card/paper.
I never had a problem with a spectator thinking it was other than just written.
