What's the reason for you not getting an already made gimmick? Well, Shin says they want you to
assemble it yourself so that if you need to make another one in future you know how!! As if they
provided you with a made gimmick and gave you the instructions to make another one you wouldn't be
able to do it!
Anyways, once you put this gimmick together you'd realize like many of
these new "magic" products its only good for entertaining youtube viewers for a fraction of second.
Because if you do this for live audience you'd have to have them stand a good distance away right in
front of you, in a dimmed light room, and hope to god they won't be having their prescription
glasses with them or they would see how your gimmick was put together.
If you plan to
amuse yourself in front of a mirror or amuse your friends with a video quality captured on your
phone and you have 35 bucks to waste then this might be a good buy for you. Otherwise, there are
much better TNR effects out there.
Your thinking like a magician, no layman I have ever performed for has seen anything, it honestly gets some of my best reactions so I urge you to try it walk around before just assuming it wouldn't work =)
Two people on the top not verified buyer ,
and just fyi - i know for a fact that shin/danny NEVER films a PROFESSIONAL trailer with a camera phone, if you notice on youtube, there is a settings wheel to change the quality, that is a youtube standard. if ya click the settings wheel you will see the quality up to 4000p, which is the most highest video quality on youtube!
They may shoot their promo videos in high quality or even HD but if you look at this particular promo video you'd notice that the camera never focuses on the card after it has been restored or the camera shot is from a good distance away with fairly harsh lighting because as mentioned before anybody with an average eyesight standing an arms length away from you (which is where they will be when they choose their card from your pack or sign their card) will easily notice the gimmick.
Depending on how well you make your gimmick, that will depend on how close you can perform, also, I've found that using a blue card is even better, and it can wven be kinda crapilly made and still look good with a blue card
