This excellent routine is an incentive to learn the Faro Shuffle, which surprisingly is not as
difficult as you might think. I would highly recommend Paul Gertner's Unshuffling the Faro Shuffle,
which in addition being an great routine also has an excellent tutorial on the Faro.
But if you
don't want to bother with the Faro, Juan Tamariz has a routine on Reshuffled which doesn't require a
Faro.
One other thing. On the final reveal where you show the randomly selected card name on the
side of the deck, I don't think it is necessary to show that all the cards have turned to the
selected card. I think that this maybe telegraphs that it is a trick deck; and takes away from the
mystery of how you could have possibly known what his randomly selected card was. That's just my
opinion. I'm sure many would disagree.
