First I usually do not write a review (actually it is my first here), because I am a French speaker
and also because I know too little about magic to consider my point of view as valuable. But this
time I felt compelled to try a short one.
Let me mention that Darwin Ortiz gave everything in
this lecture. I am talking about his energy, he really finishes knackered, after "a much longer
lecture" than he planned (this lecture lasts 3h03).
He speaks about a lot of subjects : body
composure, preparation, misdirection, suspense, offbeat and "onbeat", Dai Vernon, and much more
(that I do not remember right now). He demonstrates the strip out shuffle, shows 7 tricks (Fast
company ; Jacks or better ; Hard target ; The new backoff ; Card sense ; Appointment in Samara ; and
Doppelganger) and explains 6 of them in great detail (the first 6). He also answers thoroughly to
the audience's questions, and to some from Jason England via the internet (lol). He is always polite
and respectful, sometimes serious, sometimes humorous (English style), a real gentleman up to the
end.
I do not understand why this is sold 7.5$ while it is so valuable and some other items are
much more expensive with so much less to enjoy. This is a steal that I had to recommend. Thank you
Penguin !
And many thanks to Darwin Ortiz for everything he showed !
