Unconvincing wallet Report this review

The method here is all right. You can indeed repeat this trick in the same party and not have the same outcome (though you can't do it for the same person). You can even let them examine the deck afterward, since it's not gimmicked in any way. The "wallet", however, lacks a lot.

First of all, it doesn't look like any wallet you've ever seen or used. The wallet has been designed in order to correctly predict one of many possible outcomes, making each seem like it was the only prediction. That means you have to remember where each correct prediction is in the leather thing, and then have your spectator pull it out that way.

The idea has promise. It has the potential (with work) to be better than a Z fold wallet, but it needed to spend more time on the design table before being released like that. Instead, you are looking at a confusing looking leather thing that you have to tell the spectator is a wallet. Yes, you can get your business card in their hand this way so I guess it's good for that, but I think you'd do just as well using a Mirage Deck and regular business card wallet. You couldn't repeat the effect and the deck couldn't be examined, but it would still be impressive.
