I'm giving this 3 stars because it's a great effect. Not very happy with this version though,
compared to the old model. The pad is about half the size that it used to be. It's probably great
for parlor or living rooms, but unfortunately too small for most of my audiences. I guess I'm going
to buy his DVD and try to build my own...
Additionally, potential buyers of this effect
should be aware that it also doesn't come with a template anymore, but you will need to construct
part of your own refills out of plain blank pages that need to be bought extra. The DVD shows you
how to use the template which is no longer included which is strange.
This is still a great
effect, but in it's current incarnation, it's not really not, in my opinion, worth getting pre-made
anymore. Just by Martin's DVD and make it yourself to your own specifications. The card rise action
itself is a bit smoother than it used to be, but this is definitely not worth all the trade-offs. So
much for "new and improved".
