The elastic that makes the table work is attached to the tabletop by a spring which slowly stretches
over time. Eventually this will be unusable. They should have engineered that differently. The legs
of the table also occasionally get stuck and require a tap from a hammer to return to their proper
position - The table can support a decent amount of weight, but only when placed in the direct
center of the table. When placed off to the side the tabletop keels over and makes sounds that I
think mean 'oh-no-I'm-falling-apart'.
If all you want to do is have a place to set down
your deck of cards or water bottle during performance, this is nice, but even then it won't last
long because eventually the spring comes undone. Do what I did and realize you don't need to produce
a table to start your show, just bring out a proper folding table and spend a couple seconds being
awkward and setting up.
