Overall, the effect is ok. It is slightly obvious but if you only show the prediction for a brief amount of time hopefully the spectator won't notice anything odd. Only 1 of the 3 methods is even worth attempting and the extra "kicker" will not work for every option. He goes over all of them but disregards milk because that is a miss. This is an ok idea but nothing new and will work if you're bold and want to go out and buy things for some arts and crafts. And no the cup can not be examined.
