The gimmick does not line up properly when opened up so you cannot show the back of the card. Your
card won't look like his does in the demo...
It is a good trick/concept and could work well
on stage. I don't think it's good for close up at all.
Hey Bill,
Why would you want to show the back of the card. Blake shows clearly how to hold the card(s) to hide the thickness. Why can't people watch the instructions before judging a great trick?
I definetely agree with you Bill.
I have the feeling that bkingmagic is a shill or secret admirer of Blake Vogt. He seems to take it very personal when someone criticizes Blake. I cannot wait to read his reply on my review, here at Penguin, when or if it comes out at all.
I am not a shill. I just admire well built gimmicks and thorough explanations. I use the trick all the time and because I practiced it before performing it, I have no problem making it look as intended.
Actually the effect is beautiful and if you do it properly then the thickness is a non issue. There is literally no reason to show the back. If you want that trick perform inferno.
I am unfamiliar with inferno. But let me say as a dude has spent his entire life on the pitch, this effect is gold. I will use this for a lifetime! I am certainly not a fan of Vogt and the couple of products of his I have bought prior.
But he really nailed it with this.
Concernes expressed here most certainly seem to be made by tricksters and not showmen. This is indeed a worker and any worker would see that!
