I picked up inflexion from Dave a few weeks ago and have been playing with this ever since. When I
saw the trailer I'll be honest, I thought it was going to be really hard to achieve the colour
change but I was so wrong. The gimmick that helps to achieve the change is so beautifully made and
Daves teaching is clear and detailed. He teaches 3 different routines including an awesome 3 phase
routine based on Dr Daley's last trick which has an ingenious switch in it which flew by the first
time I watched it. Reactions to this trick have been fantastic and I now carry it in my wallet so
that I am ready to blow people's socks off whenever the opportunity arises. One last thing, you can
give the cards out afterwards to be examined. This really sold it for me.
So basically if
you love visual card magic then do yourself a favour and pick up Inflexion by Dave Loosley 😃👍
Hey Neil,
I thought that I had a good idea abouth how this works.
However, the video says that you can hand these out immediately i.e. examinable.
Thus, I must be wrong...with my way, the cards are not examinable.
Since you have this, how am I handing out a gimmick and not getting exposed.
Acknowledging that this is a public forum, any info that you can share is appreciated.
Hell, I'll probably just buy the damn thing ;-)
This looks like a genuine sleeper. This caught my eye a few days ago and I can't quit watching it. It will very likely be my next Penguin purchase. Did you get this yet Marty?...it really does look good! Can you really hand this out without any clean up?!...hope so....Peace, Don
Nah, Don, I did not.
Kinda put it on my wishlist and just returned today.
Someone (forgotten who...oops) referred me to Speed by Vinh Quang...but Inflexion is different.
Chatted w/Mark on Live chat and he confirmed that you can hand these cards out immediately for examination (no switch).
Guess that I'll just order it ;-)
Hey Don....
New data...just ordered.
I'll follow up in a couple of days upon receipt ;-)
Strange, the only two reviews so far are from Europe. Also, it didn't seem to be on the "Top 20" for too long. A lot of great stuff goes by unnoticed by a lot of people. I'm always curious about great looking effects not getting much retail action. That's why I think you'll probably really like this..Namaste, Don
Hey Don,
I rec'd the trick earlier today.
Simply, I like it!
You get two gimmicks that are very well made. However, if you ever wanted/needed to make more gimmicks, that is easy to do.
There are 3 routines taught on the DVD (no download - proprietary?).
You'll be able to do the 1st routine within minutes. The results have been strong.
The additional transpositions are strong also.
I've quit posting reviews because, generally, there are way too many. However, in this case, since there are only 3 posted at the time of this writing, I may reconsider because it's a good card transposition effect...t.b.d!
Best wishes...
Nice! Yeah, gotta agree with you on the reviews. Only when I'm really blown away by something do I take the time to post. Thanks for this review however. Can you really hand 'em out Marty. I'm getting this regardless, it does look good. Keep Your Doubles Tight, Don
Yes, Don...the way the gimmick is made, in conjunction with the technique, allows you to "hand em out".
Let me know what you think.
FYI - there isn't a "private forum" with this trick. Not sure why. You'd think that even without the download "learn" video, PM would still provide the "watch" and "discuss" buttons.
Who knows???
