Unfortunately, I am disappointed with this effect.
The quality of the gimmick is cheap and the
adhesive lasted only a moment. The method in which the gimmick is prepared inside the balloon can
sometimes be difficult, and cause the adhesive to become weak. Lucky I discovered this before I
performed the trick to an audience. However, the method of keeping it inside the balloon is awesome,
and I never would have guessed.
The materials provided are also average, and can be bought for
very cheap at a general party store. But, having these provided makes it easier for me, because I
don't have to go looking for them.
The deck is quality bicycle stock, and it prevents a
magician/mentalist from needing to take the time and effort to make their own tossed out deck.
However, The trailer for this effect fails to show that the card in the balloon IS a forced
card, I purchased this effect not knowing this was the case, so I believe I have been deceived by
not having been shown this in the trailer.
BUT, the idea for this effect is genius and very
clever, and is an entertaining effect, I will still be using it in my show, however, I am just
disappointed in this case.
