There are several problems with this routine and the presentation offered in the download. First of
all it is just a boring magic trick. There are too many potential climaxes leading to nothing, "oh,
I'm not that good" type situations that get spectators rolling their eyes and checking their
watches. The couple in the demo video were exceedingly polite to sit through 5 minutes of that to
get to the conclusion, which is rather weak. The process of getting to the end is convoluted and
hard to follow, making spectators space out. I realize the idea was to cause chaos to get the
spectator to think there was no way to know the selected card, but there isn't enough of a solid
foundation to build on. Finally, this effect requires preparation of the deck (although a quick one)
that you can't do in front of spectators, so they can't shuffle it ahead of time.
