Attended the expo today and had an awesome time. I learned some new stuff and remembered things long
forgotten. I'd definitely recommend attendance near you. Whether you're a newbie or an old hand you
WILL learn something. And for the price you can't go wrong. I was excited to see Michael Ammar and
wasn't disappointed. He seems like such an approachable guy who really cares that you understand the
concept and execution of a trick. The vendors were also great and had enough of a selection to
appeal to any type of magician. Penguin Magic was there and those guys were top notch. Sadly, I
already owned a lot of the stuff they were selling and the ones that were really intriguing were out
of my price range. The only downside I could give had to do with the venue, so it's not really a
Penguin problem per se, but one that should be addressed. When sitting any further back than the
first few rows it was hard to hear the lecturer because of all the ambient talk from the vendor
tables. Perhaps partitions could be put up to sort of soundproof the area. Viewing was also an issue
if you weren't in the front row, but I don't know how that could be fixed. Please come back to CT
(or western MA) and please bring Greg Wilson with you. PLEASE!
