I really wanted to like this one but when it arrived and I saw who the creator was I immediately
knew something was going to be dissapointing about it. He also created a trick called Shattered &
Fixed Glass and is name is Anton Corradin, that trick which also seamed like a cool premise turned
out to be mostly junk.
Now the idea of this trick Antoninus Pius is nice, the story is
nice and the props are pretty nice as well but the gimmick is of course a bit shoddy. This I know is
not an isolated incident having read other reviews on the internet.
Now if you in fact
receive a box with a perfect working gimmick there are still some issues. If when your spectator
draws the shape in the sand they don't press hard enough it wont work. Also getting a peak at the
bottom of the box is awkward and suspicious and it will be very difficult to see what you have to
see if you are not in a properly lit enviroment.
So to finalize, the idea is an original
one, the supplied patter is pretty good. The gimmick is somewhat clever but ultimately in the end it
doesn't seam worth the effort and is definitely not worth the price. I do not recommend.
