Combine them with spongeballs. An idea taken directly from Chris Randall's magic castle lecture (available on penguin! super cheap dvd, ton of ideas)

Idea is this: pick up spongeball, squeeze it, d lights come on. Let go, spongeballs released. You "made the Spongeball into a firefly!!!" Imagine doing it with 2 and combining and syncing movements...you're welcome.

To all that say d lites aren't magical, y'all crazy n' hatin'. D lites ARE magical.
