I agree with Rick, it's not about the trick itself for the wow, it's the routining. It's like: it's
not the first number (birth) or the last number (death), it's the dash in the middle... how did you
get there? Same in magic, it's what's in the middle that gives it substance and a reason to get to
the end for the wow. John knows this and shows use his thinking that fills the dash. I do think the
problem with a lecture is that many want the new trick or sleight and sometimes forget to look at
what makes something work (the dash). I think John could make 'any' trick work, IMHO. Also he's a
very funny man. :)
