Bill Malone is one of my favorite performers to watch. His technical ability is great but more
importantly he's incredibly engaging and knows how to make close-up magic engaging and fun for an
audience. The First in his On the Loose series is great. You learn as much from watching his
performances as from the technical explanations / tutorials of the effects. Definitely a good buy
and worth having.
Bill teaches you through all of the routines and the necessary sleights.
I bought the dvd mainly to learn about the false shuffling techniques and I was not disappointed,
though I have to say Bill is not the most clear teacher out there... In particular, his explanation
of the Zarrow Shuffle is pretty mediocre (sorry Bill... you still rock...). But there is enough
there to learn and develop all the sleights on your own.
Absolutely worth having in the
library.
