This is a bit smaller than I expected (I normally do it with a PVC pipe that I made myself with
spikes), but I needed a pain-free version as a convincer in a show I'm planning, where I put several
members of the audience in a number of my escape apparatus to show that they are genuine restraints.
Its smaller size makes it easier to hide the secret.
Came with white rope (which is fine; I
wasn't going to use the blue rope as seen on the picture for the show anyway, but thought it would
be good to mention in case anyone was hanging out for blue rope).
The aluminium is
certainly not mirror finish, or evenly finished. It looks "distressed" and used, which is exactly
what I'm after for the apparatus (to fit with my patter), but again though I should mention this so
people are not surprised.
Overall, I am happy with it. Would have received 5-stars from me
if it were a bit bigger, but that's just what I'm used to.
