Let me start by saying that the idea of not one, but two bill changes is amazing.
Because at the
end of the performance, the spectator is not wondering only where the dollar bills went, but also
where the heck the Fives went!
Now, on to the DVD.
The video quality is excellent.
The
instruction is also very good although when it was filmed, he made a mistake with the orientation of
the bills but it was corrected with a message on the screen.
It is a little confusing to
assemble because the gimmick is very complicated. I had to redo it on one or two spots but it's
easily fixed.
Without rambling on for too long though, once the gimmick is assembled, this
effect really great. It's fun doing it in the mirror. Fools me every time. You will need to practice
for a while but after a half hour or so, you'll be fooling people and leaving them speechless.
Highly recommended
Well, respectfully, the video isn't excellent by most standards, but is certainly serviceable.
You can clearly make the gimmick with the info provided.
Sure, a couple of money reference amounts were made incorrectly during production, but were acknowledged during post production w/a subtitle to correct.
Regardless, even without the admission, the info is clear enough to make the gimmick and perform the effect.
Careful, when mounting the magnets, that the polarities are correct...you'd hate to have the magnets repel once you got the gimmick together.
No biggie if this happens...just some minor de-construction on the edge to correct the polarity i.e. flip the magnet.
