You say you feel jipped because of the price? When you buy a solid method that you could construct yourself and use with success without having to worry about not getting what you need, if it is under $100 you have a deal. If anything the price could be more.

After that everyone takes a cut, of this price, (Murphy's, the production company, and tax) which means he hardly makes a profit, these things can't be produced at a cheaper price for the small market of mentalism.
