So.. I should have written this review a week ago.. but I couldn’t. I was and am upset that this
lecture has been released on penguin… SIMPLY BECAUSE I WANT IT FOR MYSELF! After much reflection,
I’ve come to the conclusion that my business will increase if my “competition” learns what I
learned. So here we go…
For over 10 years I have worked as a professional magician,
the past 3 years my wife joined me making 100% of our salary coming from entertainment. I’ve been
roped into dozens of lectures by marketing experts who promise to teach me how to make a million
performing. Each time I’ve been left with less in my checking account and questioning where my next
show will come from.
A few weeks ago we drove down to Columbus to sit in on David
Corsaro’s lecture at the P3 theater. Seeing that this would be the 3rd time we’ve heard David talk
on marketing it was a trip to help support a friend from the magic community. It went from
supporting a friend to frantically looking for a pen and paper trying to write down every word he
said. This was the first time I’ve heard someone qualified to discuss marketing TALK MARKETING!
Each point had meaning and purpose without the pipe dreams I’ve heard so often. David’s thoughts on
how to hand out a business card is worth the lecture. Since our trip to Columbus, I’ve started
using this technique and have established numerous relationships which have blossomed into $$.
This post has officially become 4 paragraphs long and I feel it still doesn’t express
what this lecture truly is. Let me bring this to an end by saying Stacy ( my wife) just performed
David’s “Getting to Know You” for a CEO of a major company leaving him speechless! They’ve already
asked us back next year.
What’s the old saying… a spectator will see one magician in
their lifetime? Do yourself a favor and buy this lecture so that one interaction your clients have
is professional and memorable.
