You can load the gimmicks into a regular deck and perform. I use the routine as a fun poker
demonstration of the odds in a game after I do one or two poker hand demonstrations. I give the
gimmicks 5 out of 5. Shawn is kind enough to give an additional gimmick for the Phoenix Aces! That
way you have the option of performing it with a phoenix deck or bicycle.
the routine allows for
great flexibility in scripting. There is only one sleight involved and it is a common intermediate
sleight. The instructions are clear (of course its Shawn). Just to be clear, the cards are gimmicked
but you can easily switch the cards out. The trailer is not the best trailer. But the effect is
this, you show a Royal flush in hearts but after each display of the hand, a card at a time starts
to go blank. The effect repeats until all of the cards go blank even the king and they all end up on
one card with a quite funny image. Overall, it's a fun routine and not that hard to perform. This is
one of those effects you perform when the crowd feels right.
