I purchased mine on another site, but I saw these garbage reviews and had to chime in.
If your
unit "sticks" it's VERY easy to fix. Just take the little tool they send with the unit and work the
gimmick back and forth a few times. It will work fine. I use mine all the time and it was pretty
sticky at first, too.
The only excuse for complaining about it sticking is laziness.
I don't think you understand the issue some people are having. I can't speak for everyone, but mine doesn't stick per se. The hinge itself is too thick. It will not stay open all the way, or close all the way. It kind of flops back and forth in the middle. It has nothing to do with laziness. It's just a bad product. If you got a good one, but everyone else got a bad one, then it's a quality control problem. But you don't blame the customer for that.
Blah,blah,blah.
Take it apart and fix it! Seriously, this is not like rebuilding a carburetor. It's a small box of cardboard and thin material that can be easily manipulated with a blade, some adhesive, and one human brain.
You don't need any special training. It's VERY easy to fix the problem you speak of.
You've only got to be 2% smarter than the inanimate object that you're working with.
