As always the Trailer is kind of misleading. One of the most amazing things that made me buy this
effect turns out to be a hit or miss (with a line as an out).
Instead, the main effect
(the performer getting the envelope with the money) is 100 % working BUT... I am not sure the method
is devious enough to give this effect a sense of astonishment for the spectator. It is like the
method is out in the open. The risk of getting caught is not high... but at the same time I feel
like the effect loses its power because it doesn't accentuate the sense of randomness enough, like
for example in a Chair Routine. I tried it on my friends and family members and they said it is a
pretty effect... but none of them was really amazed.
I own other Bank Nights that imho are
much more impressive and as a result I don't recommend on buying this one! You may be disappointed.
It it true in that everything can be examined?
Yes, they can examine everything because the method is either brilliant or stupid, depending on your viewpoint. Bryn Reynolds has, for my money, the cleverest bank night routine. It's fully examinable and does not use a dodgy method.
