Having done many paddle tricks over the years, I find this the best. It is logical that a little pizza would appear on a little paddle. This trick is a "worker." It is the most commercial close up walk around trick that I have seen in a long time. It went right into my walk around set and I have performed it over 100 times.
Kids love this!! Children relate to food that they eat. Pizza in particular(me too). I see this as a kid or family audience trick.
There is a thickness difference from the pizza on the paddle and pizza disc enclosed, Not one person mentioned it. Pulling the pizza off the paddle is a crowd pleaser. The disc is the size of a silver dollar and you can easily use the disc to transition into a coin effect. I actually use the disc in a coin routine and give it a pizza theme.
In the routine demo the paddle move is performed showing the pizza on both sides of the paddle. I have eliminated this and only do the paddle move showing the paddle empty. I only show the pizza on one side. In all the performances I've done only once did a kid try to peak at the other side of the paddle. I just lowered the paddle closer to my body to change the angle and he did not discover the trick method and did not comment. Have fun with this one, I know I do.
