This is another genius card trick from Mark Mason.
However, it is completley convoluted it
involves having to write on the surface of an entire deck setting up and remembering multible gafts
one which is obvious to the audience if you are not carfull.
Truthfully, the end result
isn't worth the set up work.
But if you're into puzzles and arts & crafts you will love it.
Because of this I give it a 50/50 2 stars.
SITTING IN YOUR CLOSET - most likely
"50/50 2 stars. "
-3 star review.
That makes no sense.
Mark Mason has some TRULY magnificent effects. HUGE FAN. But.. This is not one of them. It may have some clever principles worth learning but the overall effect is boring, lengthy, convoluted and low bang for the spectator. IMHO
Does the date ever come into play as verified also since it doesn't show this in the trailer? Or is the date simply used to count the cards. It seems from the claim you make people would want to see the postmark and some writing on the postcard.
Peter, it is soooooooo conveluted, soooo drawn out that EVEN you as the MAGICIAN performing will forget all of that, you will only be able to mumble to yourself, whaaa whha was I saying,....why did I buy this . . . why are they snoring . . ZZZZZzzzzz
jljones83 you're right dude. I was being nice. it's definitely -1
What do you mean by...
"But if you're into puzzles and arts & crafts you will love it."
I love puzzles and related stuff. Is this worth it?
With all the legitimate things to whine about in magic, this trick is not one of them.
Yes, the setup is a bit much. But you only have to do that ONCE! How is that such a big deal? Preschoolers do hours of comparable work every day without complaining, yet here we are, crying about having to wrote on a few cards. Really?
The ONLY thing about this product that can truly be complained about is the weak m***et it comes with.
