Like Hektor's previously released Mystery Card, this is a Swiss Army Knife of mentalism utilities on
card, this time dealing with calendar effects. Of the effects you can do, by far the best are
naming someone's zodiac sign and birthday and doing a "diary-less" version of Cassidy's classic
Chronologue. I have carried the No Diary Diary by Chris Congreave in my wallet for some time. It
uses two wallet cards and five playing cards/billets for the MOs. The Mystery Calendar version of
Chronologue only uses one wallet card and one playing card. In addition, No Diary Diary, excellent
as it is, is a one-trick pony, whereas the Mystery Calendar allows you to do at least 10 effects,
including Chronologue. Plus Mystery Calendar is less expensive.
Needless to add, this is
an excellent "packs small, plays big" card to carry with you everywhere. Coupled with the Mystery
Card, you can do a small act right out of your wallet. I love this kind of stuff!
