Magic Tricks

A classic trick for children. Easy to do (with one exception, which I’ll explain in the second paragraph. Could perform within 3 minutes of reading instructions, except that I had to make repairs: slit in stand to hold figure was cut incorrectly, I had to file it down for figure to fit; and glue holding nail in place failed after first release. The two faces are not identical—rivets on second face show as two black spots not on first face. The rivets should have been painted pink to match skin color of face.
Now, the one part which is not easy—attaching the balloon. The attaching “device” is a small eye hook which is difficult to work with. A small clip or hinge of some sort would be easier.
Despite these problems, the trick is workable and I will be using it in my kids’ show.
