Magic Tricks

Dee Christopher is an amazing mentalist/magician with a low-keyed, fun demeanor that belies his goth looks. Don't be put off by that last point, thinking that this is a lecture on bizarre magick. It's not. It's four hours of diverse, incredibly powerful and workable routines from a master. Heck, the first part--over an hour alone--on metal bending is among the best discussions, if not the best discussion, of this topic that I've ever seen. It's worth much more than the cost of the lecture.

Throughout, Dee demonstrates some of his signature things, like The Block p*** and the Broken Wing pad. And unlike some of the folks that Penguin gets who are reticent about sharing proprietary secrets, Dee is incredibly forthcoming. He's a great teacher and oh-so-cool. It's easy to see why he's among the best of the best. (Some of his insanely clever methods will have you shaking your head in disbelief--love that changing pack of gum.)

If you are a mentalist with some skills or perhaps a magician who wants to move on to other things such as metal bending, get out your credit card and buy this now. You won't be sorry. It's a brilliant lecture.
