This is something you can wear all the time, and ready at a moments notice.
Every claim
they make is accurate but . . . every prop has its weakness. While not huge, these are the
drawbacks.
1) The pencil writing is light, easily readable but light. Don't pair it with a
soft pencil.
2) The writing is thicker than a sharp pencil, so make sure the pencil you use
is dull. (although you can fake even having a pencil, and just pretend)
3) Because the
writing nub is not on the end of your finger like a thumb writer, but at your thumb joint, more
thumb movement is needed to write.
4) It only comes in two sizes (10 & 12), so it may be a
little big or small for some magicians.
This is great for impromptu work, and as a backup
if a thumb writer breaks. I still prefer a thumb writer for a show, but this is a great prop. I
love it.
