I bought this effect thinking that I could work miracles with it, but the effect that Matt shows you
in the trailer only works some of the time. The rest of the time, you have to perform a move that
anyone could figure out on their own, and in this case, the spectator cannot shuffle. Honestly I'm
disgusted at Penguin for even carrying this product.
Hi Saaketh,
Sorry to hear you weren't happy with this product.
You may want to rewatch the explanation. As it would seem from your comment you're a little confused. The effect never changes, just the method. In both scenarios there is no extra move you need to do. You just put the card back in the middle of the deck and ask your spectator to cut the deck. In both scenarios the spectator will shuffle the cards to begin with. My apologies if I didn't make that clear in the explanation. Though I'm sure I did.
Really?
Rather disingenuous apology eh?
"...my apologies if I didn't make that clear in the explanation...though I'm sure I did..."
If you did, why the heck are you apologizing?
Hi MagicYoda,
My apology was in case I didn't make it clear enough in the explanation. Though as I'm sure I did make it clear enough, I advised a re watch of the explanation.
Yeah, but my point is that you don't get the same ending that you get in the promo video. I only bought this product thinking that I would get the same scenario that you did in the trailer Everytime. There is no mention of this anywhere else on the product page which is why I am disappointed.
Hi Vangati,
Please read the product description.
The effect is always how it is described. Spectator shuffles, cards are spread face down, spectator selects a card, the card is returned to the deck (either by them or you)... (Either way no peeks) then the card is lost either by a shuffle or a cut, cards are then spread face up, spectator holds on to your wrist as you pass over the cards till you reveal the selected card.
In the description it doesn't specify who returns the card, and in the video itt shows the spectator returning the card, so I, like most people, assumed the latter.
The majority of the time the spectator will return the card.
Also, in the times they don't, the effect will be just as powerful in the spectators mind, as the card is always returned to the middle and then either shuffled or cut while you look away.
why do not you just take a marked deck. In most cases spectators do not think of something like that.
