I finally picked this one up and love it!!!! Mind Trip that is. I also have Casino Con and Miracle Chip. These ALL go together Very well!

Mind Trip:
Nothing new as far as principle. But the idea and the suitcase is very fun to use! The suitcase is actually very well made. Very durable, and easy to open and latch. Not a cheap version at all.
So far, people like this a lot that I have performed for.

You have to write the names of the cities on the cards yourself. Not a bad thing, just wanted to mention it.
I actually included the city, "Bowie" for one of my cards. Bowie, MD is where I am from. Obviously NOT famous. But a nice little laughter. I placed in an area where it will be shown the first second or so as you show the various cities. "Oh look, Bowie, MD"!

The casino card that you keep in the suitcase is indeed real.

So, alone, the way the effect works is NOT MINDBLOWING at all and not a new method but WHO CARES! You can tell what it is if you have been in magic.
BUT do NOT let that bother you. Only magicians will know.
BUT for the audience, it is really fun and they seem to love it so far! And you can truly patter about the cities (That YOU write on the cards).
I am in the Army, so I put some cities like Kabul, Sarajevo, etc. (Awesome Deployment cities! Smile)
Again, you can write whatever cities you want to fit YOU.

One MINOR note. The cards I have are maybe a LITTLE too gimmicked. hard to explain.
HOWEVER, VERY easy to not let it matter. Again, hard to explain. But if you ever used a deck that is, ummmmm that kind. This deck was made too much of the gimmick. Ughhhhh so hard to explain!
PLEASE! This is NOT an issue at all, but I just feel that I needed to mention it for this to be 100% honest and accurate for you.

NOW:
Here is what I LOVE about having a casino theme going on here!

I keep a casino chip in the case.
When I have them open (remember, audience participation is always cool for them!) the suitcase; I also have a casino chip in with the casino card supplied.

The casino chip I use?
Miracle Chip, by Mark Mason. I put in the non-gimmicked one. Since you can't have the gimmicked one from the start. This is GREAT since they themselves handle the chip during this effect. You just tell them to look at the card and set the chip aside (Another great idea, since they touch the chip and this is "THE" chip you can use for the next effect below).
They see the chip. Nothing big there, but then the card. And how the card matches their "random" selection.

Then you can go into the Miracle Chip routine of your choice. I use the un-gimmicked Miracle Chip for obvious reasons. But ring in the one needed for that effect while they are "wowing" over the miracle (great play on words, Mike).

And........
Bonus cool idea!

From there, I go into Casino Con!

A W E S O M E!!!!

You can even go into Casino Con after Mind Trip. Whatever, just a great set of effects to use together.

Just my thoughts on this.
I love it, and was well worth the price for me.
