I know people who absolutely flip out on the prices of specialized decks but are the first of those
to say, "Wow, that's a beautiful deck! Where'd you get it?!?" or a similar inquisitive freak-out.
And, for lay people, forgidaboutit, kapeesh? In regards to money-paying gigs, there's nothing more
perfect and respecting to the client than an attractive deck to present your magic with for the
audience. These Honeybee Metalluxe cards certainly fit the bill. Ribbon spread on a black table they
look amazing. As you would imagine, they are manufactured from the highest quality of materials. The
white is bright white, the blacks deep, and the gold inlay vivid yet non-intrusive. The firmness of
the cardstock is spot on for magical work. Like Momma Bear, not too firm, not too soft and the edge
cut gripping but not scratching. Penguin Magic is a powerhouse in magic hubs and with historical
significance, and for that reason I went ahead and purchased 2 decks plus the commemorative coin; 1
deck for my personal use and the other deck and coin for my display case of awesome card decks from
awesome magic companies.
Expensive, but highly recommended.
