These Are Not Loaded Dice Report this review

What can I say? These are not loaded dice by any stretch of the imagination. Loaded dice have weights hidden inside, usually in the pips, which increases the likelihood that the number opposite the weighted face will land face up. That is not guaranteed to happen with loaded dice, but it gives the dice cheat an advantage in betting.

These dice are what are usually called "tops" or "tops and bottoms". That is, dice which are misspotted. Fair dice have opposite sides adding up to 7. With tops, not all opposite sides do that. Normally, tops have three pair of sides which aren't fair, for example 2 4 6 repeated opposite each other. Some tops only have one pair of faces with duplicated values, making them harder to detect in use, but not offering as much of a percentage advantage in a dice game.

These dice have one die with all fives and the other die has 3 sixes and 3 twos. So it is telling the truth that you will always throw 7 or 11 with them. But you would never put such dice in the spectator's hands, and you want to switch them out as fast as possible when you throw them.
