Richard Turner is clearly a very accomplished card mechanic, one of the best of his generation. And
the contents are clearly described as presented under the theme of "Protecting Yourself at the Card
Table". So you should know up front that this is not an instructional video in slights. Richard
Turner does not teach you how to do any of the moves he uses. In fact he doesn't talk at all on the
video. There is a narrator who describes what is going on. Richard Turner only demonstrates the
moves expertly.
This is not to say that you can't pick up some hints on second dealing or
bottom dealing from careful watching. You can. And the false overhand shuffles, the false cuts and
cut nullifications are well described by the narrator. But there is none of the "inner work" shown
or described.
What you get with this video is the ability to watch Richard Turner's hands
from different angles and in slow motion. It is up to you to learn what you can from that.
