The 1st shell is a piece of cake. The second shell was for me a bear to open. Very similar to Triad Coins. Only difference I found was you could flip it in the air. I don't do that anyway. Afraid the coin will "Vanish". Well make, but not for me.

I bought mine from another dealer and found it to be silky smooth in operation. I wonder if you just happened to get a unit that was not up to their usual standards?
