PROs:
- The idea and concept are awesome and easy and, if it were not for the flaws and
inadequate support I would have given it 5*
CONs:
- it is supposed to come with a Joker to
"protect" the special deck but there was none in mine
- there is a link to the
video-instruction but there is no forum available on My PenguinMagic to discuss the effect with
other purchasers / pose questions
- support at Penguin Magic was unable to answer my questions
as they had sold out of the deck with the pre-order and did not have anyone on staff who was
familiar with the effect who could answer my question or support a $40 product
- it is possible
that my deck is defective because the special treatment needed to create the effect seemed
inconsistent (but they couldn't say because, again, there was nobody at Penguin who was familiar
with it and they are not expecting to restock till sometime in February)
- I took a chance and
corresponded by email with Gregory Wilson (to his magician's email address) to see if he could help
me understand somethings that were not explained on the video-instructions but got no response.
Overall, very frustrated and disappointed - and I am someone who has purchased well over 200
effects from Penguin Magic
You have to provide the joker yourself, but it is not required. Email me atzdbarber@liberty.edu if you want some support on this trick, because I had some problems at first but it was a mistake I made. I’m sorry the customer support was not the best.
Thank you atzdbarber@liberty.edu - I sent you an email from my email address - jeffmorrismd@mac.com
Zbarber12 - I tried emailing you at atzdbarber@liberty.edu but it was rejected by the liberty.edu claiming that:
This is DefenderMX at dmxscan3.liberty.edu.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; delivery will not be attempted again.

Failure Reason: Error: Some recipients failed: <atzdbarber@liberty.edu>

Look at the email address closely again... he mistakenly didn't put a space in between the "at" and "zdbarber", so it likely should just be zdbarber@liberty.edu.
Thank you for the suggestion, Patrickster - I will try that.
Is the deck examinable sir? Could you please answer?
It is not, but the way you present it, the spectators should not want to inspect it.
Needs to be made better, mine was not so good, The deck I received was poorly made and did not last until practicing with it within a few hours and some started not to work, What is made of it should cost 25.00 not 40.00, You would be better with an invisible deck, for 10.00. I think that is why the deck is already down to 31.95 , Which is still too high, If you get it you will see. Not worth it.
