Okay, so this is the kind of effect I LOVE! Versatile, simple, direct and the magic happens in their
hands, it doesn't get more powerful that that! Great ideas on the tutorial, well taught, nothing bad
to say about this! If you are on the fence, just buy it! You won't be disappointed!
Hi there! I previously released "Black Flame" through Penguins's Partner Program (I did the demo, explanation, graphics, etc.) sometime last year. Penguin really liked it, and asked to get it professionally produced. Ben probably bought it when it was still a "partner product", rather than a "P3 product", which would explain how he knows about the method, without having the Verified Buyer label.
With regards to some magicians in Asia being unable to buy stuff: this is usually because of pirating. Most companies keep a blacklist of people who are known to resell methods or post them for torrent. Unfortunately, most of the people who do that are located in Asia. I don't know if there is a blanket ban on certain countries.
And concerning the "magician's gang of friends": Yup, it exists. It's irritating when I see a cool looking effect with great reviews, only to buy it and it turns out that it really can't be done as described.... and then I do some digging, and it turns out that the bulk of the reviews were done by the same hype-squad who cover half the products on the market...
One of the stipulations I had when signing the contract with them - I didn't want any of this "getting a bunch of buddies to give glowing reviews" nonsense on my creation.
