It's a con, NOT angle proof and after examination and "trying" the hand turning moves in the
EXTREMELY OLD AND FUZZY video, you will become EXTREMELY angry that you indulged in this stupidity
(yes, even if you were the Dali Lama).
Its premise (the gimmick) is very much like the
MOVING MATCH BOX (the one that opens and stands) only the MATCH BOX works because the "gimmick" is
covered as it is INSIDE the box, this is not.
You would not use this EVEN if you got it for
free!
Regrettably MINUS FIVE rating.
Did it promise you it was "angle proof" ? No. Many great magic tricks are not angle proof. Maybe YOU will never use this , but that doesn't mean it's a bad trick. Sounds like YOU took one quick look at the video and instantly decided it was lousy , so you never put the work into practicing it and trying it out on real people. It's very usable. Many people do use it (and also the Fickle Nickle , which isn't angle-proof either, but under the right conditions it's a killer effect.) The one thing I will agree with you on is the video that came with this trick originally had very minimal production values. They should update the video (But didn't they update it within the past few years ? I thought I heard that Meir Yedid had re-shot the whole video ?)
