The best thing about this DVD is the bonus-effect that you can see in the video that advertises it.
I have watched about 6 different Sankey videos. I have written postive reviews about them
and several of his products. And I liked this one as well. He is interesting and encouraging on this
project and it's always fun to listen to uncle Jay anyway.
However, this is something you
let wash over you, it's entertaining, but entertaining much like a soap-opera. There is some wisdom
here, but all in all, even though I enjoyed it, I absolutely recommend NOT to buy it. It's about 45
minutes long! and sure, quality is more important than quantity, but for the money, it is NO WAY
justified for this one. It's also lacking in substance, for the money you can buy 3 solid books on
creativity (and very good ones). Consider that performing and explaining 4 tricks takes away from
the 45 minutes. In a way it's like paying good money for a long sankey-interview. Which doesn't take
away from his intelligence and intellectuality. It's good to watch with a cappuchino but if you are
short on money there are way better investments. It's a bit of a feel-good DVD. If you hate reading,
bad for you, because way better to read his book "beyond secrets" ( which is too expensive as well).
Stick with his other products.

Jay Sankey is an excellent teacher. The DVD is very clear and easy to understand. You just have to
take ACTION on the information Jay provides.
I already within 10 min. after watching the DVD
came up with a better method (that works) on a trick I spent .00 on!! An amazing DVD.

I don't have a DVD player but I got this anyway and watched it once by a friends house. It's
increadible IF YOU TAKE IT SEREOUSLY but you Kind of have to watch it a few times to remember
evrything which I can't 100% do. I have always been creating magic but I invented some tricks I
would not have invented without it that are totally worth what I paid. (Maybe I'll make a DVD mysef
even)

There are so many magicinas, that say they can not create a trick, or that they are not creative
enough. If that is you, then this DVD should help you so much, he gives you so many useful ways to
become more creative and remember the ideas you may have had. I used to not be able to come up with
my own tricks but now I am thinking of quality effects left and right, it is awesome. I hope this
DVD does what it did for, for you.
The DVD is well produced a once again very helpful I suggest
this for any magician.

Creating an effect is a very hard thing to do and there are not any short cuts.
Good trick ideas come with time and constantly looking at other tricks being performed
(look at penguin's demo videos).

Jay Sankey does a fabulous job describing his creative process and giving you the encouragement and
motivation you will need to confidently create your own magic (Your own effects, methods, and
presentations). A poster printed with Sankey's "nuggets of gold" catch phrases is included with the
DVD, so that you can hang it on your mirror or your fridge and be reminded of the lessons he teaches
in the video. I would highly recommend this DVD to anyone interested in creating their own magic.
This DVD really help you to create your own magic.
If you want to learn how to create your own
magic tricks you are in the ultra-correct place.
This DVD is awesome! I watched it, and although some say that all it has in it is common sense...it
is more along the lines of abstract common sense that people don't ever realy think about. You also
get 4 great tricks with it which was a plus. He tells you how to be creative...rather than creating
for you. Get this and especially take advantage of the March Madness Giveaway cause it's FREE!
If you expect this DVD to make you into a creative magician you're wrong. It gives you tips on HOW
to develop into one. It has a few "ok" bonus effects but ontop of that I really liked what Jay had
to say, even though some of it was stuff that was kinda obvious. That's why it get's three stars.
It's not a bad DVD in any way, but not terrific either. So if you are interested in developing your
own magic and willing to spend the cash, get it!
