I am familiar with Blaine/Harris's Strange Travelers, David Solomon's Thought Across cards and now Harlan's Red Rover. I would recommend all three as I love them all but Red Rover is the best of them in my opinion.

Red Rover and Strange Travelers are equal in their ease of execution but Red Rover's gimmick's allow for a cleaner looking presentation and has some added things built in to be more convincing and fair.

If you are looking for an easy cards across effect that looks killer and uses minimal sleight of hand this is the one.

Incidentally Gary Jones has a really nice non-gimmicked any deck version of thought across cards that was in Decembers penguin magic monthly. Check it out if you can.

Dan Harlin magic is always good. No video or DVD, but read the instructions a few times and you will get it.

I love this trick. It always kills. The only thing I would recommend would be to have a video tutorial instead of the book. I learned it, however it would have helped to see the trick performed. But this, with a bit of practice it may be one of your favorites.
