I bought this to use for "Young Frankenstein the Musical" for the Hermit scene. Works great and has
been flawless for 19 performances.
It is basically a Thumb tip with a rope wick with a metal
thump protector and some cotton. It uses Lighter fluid for the fuel.
One tip they don't mention.
When the wick gets a little short the flame gets smaller. The fix is to pull more wick out of the
thumb. The wick runs the length of the thumb and the cotton feeds the wick. Pulling the wick out a
little and you get more wick to flame up. I adjust it every 6 or 7 performances and this works
great.

Vernet has done it again! Can this company make a bad product?
This is great, it's a really
solid and cute utility. I've used it to light cigarettes, flash paper, envelopes. It's the perfect
gag.
You really have to make it obvious on stage though, I've done it a few times and
people have thought I'm just holding a match secretly behind my thumb.
Great product,
highly recommend it!

The Thumb Tip Flame arrived in proper condition and worked as claimed. It was used as a prop in a
major community theater production of Young Frankenstein and worked for every performance.

This I believe could be very good. The only problem is that the instructions that it came with are
not very good. I am still not 100% sure how to set it up. If anyone could help me please respond!
Gogo.........fire I use this tip at childrens bday parties to make stuff "appear"
This is a really cool trick that you can do close up or on stage. I don't know who's seen it but
there is this old Buggs Bunny episode where he actually flicks his thumb and it lights on fire. I
guess that is why I was taken in by this product. On the plus side, it is made by Vernet so you know
that it is going to be a great product. This is more of a gag really so just be careful how you use
it.
As another review says don't be persuaded by the photo, it's misleading. The gimmick is okay but
don't expect to be able to hide it in plain sight. This would be suitable for a quick flash but not
to 'magically make fire appear at your fingertips'.
The flame tip is on thumb pad giving it a more realistic look and easier to extinguish. Use along
side with the D'Lite from Rocco. Use a lighter to light the flame thumb. Then take away the heat
with your D'Lite and do your thing!

The picture of the product looks very misleading. It is not like that at all. It is a thumb tip with
something special inside. I do not think it is useful at all because once you are done with the
trick all the heat will be on your thumb. Bottom line is that it is not worth it, you will never use
it, and it is not clean at all.
