I figured I'd pick this up before trying out a proper zombie ball to see how I liked it - I wouldn't
recommend this unless you're crafty and want to fix it.
Other reviews say that there's
basically nothing holding the ball against the gimmick. I figured that maybe it was a little fiddly
but would mostly stay on unless you went crazy - but I was absolutely wrong. The ball doesn't stay
on the gimmick at all. It *will* fall off. As you get it in the package it is completely unsuitable
for performance. If you're crafty and want to try to fix it, maybe it would work okay.

I have owned a Vernet Mini Zombie before, and loved working with it. As a solo trick, it's great for
portability, and really shows up well under all lighting situations. Angles are the same as a
regular zombie, and with some basic palming the vanish of the ball is spectacular.
The
only down side is that the gimmick tends to be a little loose fitting, but can be remedied with a
little rubber cement. I plan on getting another one of these soon to add to my Vernet multiplying
balls routine. All in all, for the price this is definitely worth the purchase.

The ball was the right size but I was disappointed to find the ball would not stay attached to the
gimmick. It had to be glued. The pre-driled hole and the end of the gimmick would not connect
securely nor stay. The ball wobbled and easily fell off. But for 5 bucks ............

I ordered tis knowing very well it's a miniature Zombie. It's okay, the ball does NOT stay on, it
just sort of balances and the wire itself fells just a tiny bit sturdier than a paperclip.
The gimmick works great if you keep it steady, if you bounce around it may fall off. The idea is to
keep it as steady as possible so the effect looks real. All you have to do is practice like anything
else. It is a marvelous effect. You may want to use a little double sided scotch tape at the base of
the gimmick to keep it tight until you master it. Small & compact to take it with you.
I like the fact that this fits in my closeup case and it even works close up.
This trick is a pocket sized version of an all-time classic. It's a great middle of the show trick
for a children's party or a wonderful addition to your multiplying balls routine for a stage or
parlor show. If you've ever thought you'd like to try the zombie ball, give this a try first and see
if it's right for you. You can't beat the price.
It is small, but I knew that going in. It works well. The quality is good. I'd buy it again.
