I always search and read reviews of magic effects before I purchase however, for some reason, I
found very few reviews of this effect on the "inter-webs". Even so, I decided to take a chance and
purchase this effect ...
I Was Not Disappointed! This effect is perfect for my corporate
and family parlor shows. I have performed the Bill in Lemon and Bill in Kiwi, hundreds of times, as
staples of my parlor and street acts but this effect can have just as powerful an affect on the
audience.
It was well worth the price for the materials I got AND the downloadable video
instructions.
The instructions very clear with both straight-on and over-the-shoulder
shots.
It will require some practice (like anything else) to get the moves smooth and
effortless but there is nothing "knuckle busting" about it. The "moves" explained in the video do
not look unnatural or out of place.
Some "assembly" is required but no "arts and crafts"
are needed. It will take anywhere from 5 to 7 minutes to assemble and setup all you need to perform
this effect.
I do not feel that this is suited for restaurant work because it does not have
a quick reset. You could prepare more than one set if that's what you need. The main gimmick is
something every working magician may have but it has been altered slightly (as you will see should
you also buy this effect). The other materials can be found online. In that case you will need to do
some "arts and crafts".
If you are "on the fence" about this effect, as I once was, jump in
and go buy it. I don't think you'll be sorry.

Received the Yarn a couple days ago. While I haven't performed this yet live, i've been toying with
it and this is the end game for anyone that wants to do a bill to location without the mess of a
fruit!
Well done for this ingenious idea and thought!

I purchased The Yarn by M. Llaser to see if I could adapt its method to finger rings instead of
paper money. I could not although Mr. Llaser claimed it could be done with a simple modification in
the gimmick. That's not the problem I have with the trick, which I have performed many times.
The problem is that the borrowed bill is only attached to the yarn but not tied to it as it
should be to make the illusion better. I don't want to divulge its secret, but I must note that the
person who loans the bill to the magician is the same person who removes the bill from the yarn.
Llaser's instructions on his video claim that it's not a big deal because others in the audience
will believe that the bill is tied to the yarn. That is not true.
I guess in his
performances, members of his audiences never talk to one another or compare notes. If they were to,
the secret of the trick would spread like wildfire. I would steer clear of this trick if I were you
and search for something better.

Really love this effect but disappointed that piracy is killing the art of magic.
In India one
indian website who ships worldwide is pirating this product for Approximately for $5. I don't know
whom to complaint. If this goes on magic will no longer be left on this planet

The title of the review alone should tell you it's not a $30.00 trick. This is not as strong as a
bill in (your choice of fruit here) like some have suggested. I feel like you have to do a bit more
leading of your spectator with this particular handling of bill in whatever. It comes with a web
link to a 40min mp4 file with a single performance that you can see in the trailer and explanation.
At the end of the video the Mr. LLaser sits down and talks about other potential ideas he has the
use with this handling.

This is one of those pieces that is beautifully constructed, well produced and increidibly
practical. Very easy to add to your show- plenty of space for showmanship.
Recommend it!

This works.
You have to put the time into it but at the end you have a great presentation
and effect that leaves the audience with their mouths wide opened!
