This is just a fantastic trick and uses a different type of deck, a numbered deck to predict a
lottery number on a real lottery ticket - which you give away to your audience that they could
really maybe win something with!
The trailer is accurate and the method is really a wild
one and quite easy to do with hardly even a slight used as sure there's a tiny move, but it's more
like 1/2 a slight than a slight.
What's great is you can have the audience do most of the
work - shuffling etc so they feel like it's in their hands.
The cool part is that with the
right patter you can talk about a group of people pooling their luck together to try and unlock the
secrets of the lottery and maybe win big.
Basically the day of your performance what's wild
is you can buy a real lottery ticket to use and give it to your audience, thereby giving them a real
chance to win something in the lottery.
Yes, a ticket is just $2 but I've had great
reactions & they leave impressed since you're actually giving them a real lottery ticket which could
win.
Great for friends and family for sure & it makes the trick really unique and you can
joke about how if they do win, you should split the big jackpot.
If you don't want to buy a
lottery ticket each time, just buy one and use that over and over for a few months and say that
you're doing an ongoing experiment regarding harnessing luck from a group and you want to see if you
can predict predetermined lottery numbers - that wind up on an older lottery ticket (that you use
over and over, with different people obviously). You'll probably want a newer ticket every few
months just so the date doesn't seem too old.
The end of the trick is kind of the same in
that scenario in which your spectators successfully help predict numbers on a real ticket which
means you're all maybe step closer in being able to predict the winning numbers in the future.
What's really interesting here is that the number deck you receive for this trick then became
known and resold as the Cipher deck without a lottery plot.
SO if you google it - you can
find multiple places to buy instructions on how to use this deck you already own, as the Cipher deck
for about $12 (10 pounds since it was made in the UK) as a special "upgrade" for people who bought
the deck as for the Guaranteed Jackpot trick.
The upgrade is a digital download so you'll
get it quite fast.
Penguin does not have an upgrade option - but the original maker which I
believe is Magicworld in the UK does and so you then get like 10 bonus tricks that you can do with
this number deck as a Cipher deck in a 90 minute + video and little pdf.
So it's really
fast and easy to get that upgrade (took me a few days with the time difference as their customer
service was a tad slow) and a few of the tricks are really cool and unique to this concept of a
"number deck" aka the Cipher deck.
Definitely worth $12 to get more use out of something
you already own.
So the original lottery trick itself is just fantastic and quite easy to
perform with next to no slight of hand - and since the deck itself is kind of unusual you can then
get that upgrade and do some new tricks with it.
HIGHLY recommend!
