Let's see the stack is complex, you need to make at least on force and several shuffle cuts.
Very powerful effect but worth all the effort? Or hype that this is self working>

this is a powerful effect but not easy to perform due to its complexity; make CHSD stack look like
kids work. Not for simple minded folks like me

This is all about the story and very easy audience management. When done well, it is an amazing
feat and quite mystifying. Gracias, Woody!

Just got it and is going into my show.
The method is so clever that might even fool some
magicians.

This is the first review I write ,sadly enough because I am frustrated with the explanation. The
trick itself is beautifull.
Woody Aragon is an expert , but I am not so I tried to follow the
explanation carefully . It's not the heavy Spanish accent of mister Aragon thats a problem (
although it's not in favour of the eplanation ) but the filming of what he does is bad. It's a trick
full of details so why not show the details carefully . Now I think this trick will end up somewhere
on my computer , I don't bother anymore , it's a shame , because Woody Aragon has other tricks wich
are alway's a pleasure to do and I had no diffulties to learn , but this one , ...... if you are not
a card expert , leave it alone , .........
How can you go wrong with WOODY?!
HE IS top notch in every way!!
Well worth the time to
learn.
People LOVE this!!!!
This is a great little routine with a lot more potential than it would first seem.
My only
issue with it is that it needs a stronger climax, but that is something a good magician could work
out for themselves with a little thought.
This is a great trick and as Woody says - it is practically self-working. There is only one part of
the instructions that you need to follow carefully, but that's what I did and I replayed that part a
few times and understood what was required and then it works beautifully. There is a little audience
management at the beginning but really its straightforward and shouldn't present any difficulties
and then you have a miracle!!
If you are familiar with Woody Aragon's A Book in English you will recognize some of the principles
that make Fortune Tarot work. And if not, you may just learn a lot. It is a clever application of
some really clever principles.
The promotional video is honest and the instructions are
clear. The trick does require some practice (what doesn't?) and audience management, especially when
the spectator cuts and shuffles. The cutting part is easy, but I haven't completly nailed what to do
when the spectator makes a really bad riffle shuffle. In one performance I simply offered help and
riffled the cards together and then let the spectator square the deck - that worked fine.
I
have performed the trick a few times now and will definitely keep doing so. It is fun to perform, in
part because of the principles at work, and it gets good reactions. The kicker ending is really
powerful. So far it has earned me a few expletives and a middle finger from an engineer when he
realized that he wasn't going to figure out the trick after all.
A game so neat that will leave everyone speechless and with so many posibilities to present it that
every single time will feel new and fresh.. The explanation is clear and concise and the result is..
magic!
